Student Recovery Day is a collaborative event focused on student dropout throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District. The district will make a concerted effort to find and recover students who have dropped out or are at-risk to drop out of school. All schools in the district will participate by making phone calls, home visits, and conducting parent and student conferences on February 18, 2010. Volunteers from the Central, Local, and Satellite Offices will assist targeted schools on the day of the event to assist larger numbers of students and families.
